Wow, the Becky in this story sounds like she helped out a load- ‘Becky had not seen it’ haa!! It was an awful awful night but probably the funniest moment ever when we walked into the room, TV down and Cat and me looked at each other and I said- ‘did you break in through the window!’ So glad everything worked out it was a fantastic holiday love youu xxxxx

She most certainly has to get out of that relationship. She will feel terrible, probably for months, but by staying busy and keeping her friends close she will get through it, come out the other side and eventually realise that he was an arse that’s she’s better off without. It’s unbelievable that he doesn’t want her to meet his friends and doesn’t want to meet hers – he sounds like a right prat. I don’t hold with the view that he doesn’t realise what he’s doing – I agree that can happen in some cases, but when someone doesn’t want you to meet their friends something is definitely not right.

I wish her luck. Breaking up with someone / being broken up with is devastating if you’ve been with that person for a considerable amount of time and you love them, but eventually you do feel better and gradually you realise that you spend less and less time each day thinking about the other person. Then, contrary to how you felt after the break up, you meet another person who rocks your world.
